I have been searching online for the last three hours for a solution to my crossfire problems. I've had no luck going solo so far, i turn to you tech guys for help.

Both crossfires installed to the MB with two ati interconnect bridges attached. when I boot up into vista...
Windows only recognizes that I have two 4850s in the display adapter under device manager *** I had read earlier that I'm suppose to have four?? *** 2 cards + 1 cf edition + 1 secondary edition). I'm lost on where to go from here... this is a fresh install on vista32, with catalyst 8.9 drivers and when I check ccc it says crossfire is enabled, I'm just not sure that it is working properly...

OS: Vista 32-bit
CPU: Q6600
MB: GA-P45-DS3R
PSU: Corsair 650TX

tldr.. cf enabled in ccc & 8.9 drivers, 2 bridges attached to both cards, device manager shows only 2 ati individual cards and nothing more it this considered a successful cf install?

thanks in advance!

eh ..you have 2 cards ..why would it show 4 cards. Stop drinking in the morning ..problem solved. Also remember to enable crossfire in the Catalyst control panel.
