Phenom II 955 w/ Radeon 5770 x2

Alright...Since I'm planning to crossfire the Radeon HD 5770 x2 with the MSI 790FX-GD70 mobo, I would like to know if I can get the most out of these graphics cards with an AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition processor. I'm planning to overclock both the processor and graphics card.

That will be a well matched system, as you are employing the once top AMD offering, which is well known for being great for gaming. I wouldn't be worried about a CPU limitation at all.

I read a review in which they showed that even for the 5970 and a top tiered amd cpu it was still gpu-bottlenecked, so yeah you should be perfect for that, great gpu/cpu combo, should be close to even (assuming you dont OC).
