have had a P4P800 in the closet for like 4 years, and just put together with all new stuff, booted 1st try and got 3 minutes into loading XP and just quit. Could it be battery is no good? Tried power supply, memory, and CPU on my P4PE and all good. My XP cd is in drive.(how do I get out? LOL.) HELP. Dave.

Have you ever built a computer before?
If you cant get your cd out, your cd drive isnt plugged in?
You can take a paper clip and put it in the tiny hole in the front of your cd drive and it will open.
What do you mean it just quit? Did you get a stop error? Blue screen? Black screen? Shut down?
Your not telling us much here.

Yes this is about the 6th one I have built, This CD drive does not have the paper clip hole.
New 2.4 northwood
antec PS
corsair ram 2 gb.

no errors xp was loading drivers, and during that it just powered off.
