So, my wife is very much against this... but I'm seriously considering an upgrade to my PC Case & PSU. I'm using an Antec case I bought 3 years ago (which works fine). I'm also using a 480W Antec TruePower 2 PSU (which works fine with what I have).

But the allure of the Thermaltake Armor cases, plus the idea of having a more stout PSU (thus letting it run cooler since it won't be at 100% load), and taking on the 80 Plus certification. Anyhow, I'm tossing between two deals at NewEgg.com right now. Wanting to get some input as to what others think. :)

Deal 1:
Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan - Retail <$169.99> (-$35 MIR)

Thermaltake W0116RU 750W Complies with ATX 12V 2.2 & EPS 12V version SLI Ready CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail <$159.99>

Total: $269.98 + Shipping of $34.10 = $304.08 (-$35MIR) = $269.08

Deal 2:
Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan - Retail <$169.99> (-$35 MIR)

Antec TPQ-850 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail <$139.99> +20% off Promo Code (-$28) = $111.99

Total: $309.98 - $28 = $281.98 + $21.99 Shipping = $303.97

Okay, so here's the question. Deal 1 saves me $34.89, compared to Deal 2. I know Thermaltake and Antec PSU are both good. So, the question is mainly this. Will I miss the 100watts difference between the Antec and Thermaltake later on? Any future upgrades I make will own my 480W PSU I have now. So either of these will be a huge step forward. Just wondering if I should shell out the extra $35 in hopes that 100watts holds me out longer.

Thanks in advance for all your input. :)

Oh wow shoot. I just realized I had not been calculating the $35 MIR on Deal 2. So that actually makes Deal 2, $268.97 after MIR.

Deal 1: $269.08

Deal 2: $268.97

lol Okay so I'm gonna call this a no brainer and feel pretty stupid.
