I have set up a Wireless network & a wired network via a netgear router on broadband. They both have different names & if I look at my network places I get the wired MSHome one. Should I only have one or how do I connect to network places wirelessly

network places are a windows invention. They are for file/printer sharing, among other things.

Are you connected to router with a network cable, or is it wireless? Just note that the windows network places are totally unrelated to the SSID (the wireless name) of your router.
