Well I have a bit of a problem with a new computer I am building. Ordered the parts recently from Newegg:

Q6600
Corsair 750w PSU
4gb DDR2-800 Corsair RAM
XFX 9600GT XXX Alpha Dog Edition
At first MSI 750i mobo

Well everything worked the first time around. Installed vista and some games. Played them no problem, but then my computer crashed mid gaming session in TF2. It restarted and started loading Windows again but I turned it off and headed to bed that night. The next morning the the computer would not display at all (not even BIOS). Nothing changed, nothing moved.

I tried simple troubleshooting there and ended up deciding either the motherboard or CPU was the culprit (1 stick of RAM, different wires, different monitor, different position for GPU, bunch of other stuff) I was getting no beeps at all.

Well I RMA'd those parts and got back my CPU and Mobo yesterday (ended up getting a new mobo Asus P5N-D because the MSI was out of stock). Anyways I tested it out with my new parts and everything and still no display. However this time around the motherboard is beeping (1 long beep 3 short beeps). It's Award BIOS so that indicated it's a video error.

I was quite angry to find out the other parts I RMA'ed weren't the problem but today I got a new videocard to just make sure it was indeed the video card. I got a XFX 9600GT regular edition today and guess what? It doesn't display either. Same beep code is going on.

So that leaves me with either a broken PSU or some bad RAM or possibly some poor connection/grounding somewhere down the line. I gave up for tonight so any ideas on what this could be? Tomorrow I plan on taking everything out once more and just have it barebone to see if I get a display. 2 Monitors, 2 VGA cables, 2 CPUs, 2 Mobos, 2 video cards, 2 different sticks of RAM...but a GPU beep code? Could it be faulty powering on the PSU? I made sure I got a quality PSU but there is the possibility it could be defective and not properly powering my GPU. Everything does turn on and fans sound fine and dandy.

Also, I doubt it's the RAM because when both sticks are out it does the RAM error beeps. (Yes I tried one stick).

Also another note, the power is properly connected. 24pin and 4 pin for this mobo. And power to GPU has been connected as well.

Thanks in advance, I'm a bit exhausted dealing with this. If I forgot anything let me know....
