My mother board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813188026 says it supports DDR2 1066 but can I use 800? Also, the 2x1 version of my RAM is on the boards QVL but the 2x2 is not is that a big problem?

Yes you can still use DDR2 800, 1066 support means anything up to and including 1066 RAM.
