ok so i am thinking about buying an 24 dell lcd for 230 bucks new

its this model http://configure.us.dell.com/dells [...] oc=E248WFP

my pc specs
q6600
4gb ram
9800gtx

anyway i want to hook up a ps3 for blu ray and an xbox 360 hd dvd drive and play hd movies on my pc. i will be buying speakers later. what i need to know is will i be getting the full hd picture or should i buy a better lcd.

any thoughts?

The monitor doesn't have HDMI input(s). It's best to get one that does for game consoles. That usually means HDTV or a select few computer monitors. If you hook up ps3/360 to that Dell lcd, you won't get sound. Unless you somehow wire the consoles to have a separate sound connection.
