I am hoping to upgrade my video card in my Dell Dimension 9200. I upgraded the PSU to 500watt, but need to know if my mboard is PCI express x16 version 1 or version 2.0. How can I determine this?

Your easiest bet is to download cpu-z and it should tell you the graphics link/slot speed. Otherwise, you look in the dimension manual or specs online for the motherboard, then search for the motherboard specs.

If you are looking to get a new graphics card, it does not matter which pci express slot you have, any pci express card will work. Pci express 2.0 is backwards compatible with 1.0 and visa versa.
