Ok i am building a computer and i want a motherboard that has supports ddr-2 memory (prefer supporting 1066 ddr-2) supports sli ( i would like 2 pci-e x16 slots) and is good for ocing. Also i will be ocing the Q6600 or the Q6700 but probably the Q6600. Any suggestions for motherboards would be nice...Did i forget! I am a first time over clocker so i would like the BIOS to be "friendly" to first time over clockers. That is all and have a nice day! XD

For SLI support you're going to need a Nvidia chipset and there really aren't any I would suggest. Intel chipsets are much more stable and overclock better, especially with quads. Do you already have a Nvidia video card that you are looking to SLI?

I cant recommend a sli board either. Nvidia chipsets are junk.

ASUS, and Gigabyte are very good choices. Gigabyte's Award BIOS is a little easier for a novice to work with though. Also I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH A NVIDIA CHIPSET, so ignore the morons. (and don't feed the trolls)

Gigabyte UD3P. It's an intel board and it rocks. Stay away from amd / nvidia chipsets for OC purposes. I have a Q9550 on this board that is stock 2.83 that booted and ran benchmarks at 4.25, It's set to 3.77 for 24/7 use.
