Sorry if this seems like a silly question, i would really want to hear your comments before making a decision. I am building a gaming PC with Q6600 OC, which one of these would you prefer?

(1) OCZ Reaper HPC 2x2gb 4-4-4-15 for 25 AR FS
(2) CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 2x2gb 4-4-4-12 for 40 AR FS

How big is the difference of the timing on performance, in terms of gaming? Which one has a better design for heat dissipation? Thanks. I have posted another thread on the choice of MOBO. If you have time, please take a look HERE also. I will really appreciate your help.

You won't see a difference at all with either of those timings.

Last I check there is no built in heat sensors on memory sticks. Only way you can check is to remove the heatspreader and stick a thermal sensor on the memory, then reseat the HS back on.

I'd take the reapers because of the cool HS factor.
