My father gave me an older lap top from his now defunct company. My husband and I just added wireless at our home and although I can connect to the internet landline when I try to connect wireless it looks like it connects but will not give me a web browser. It also says "Windows was unable to find certificate to log you on" The certificate info. we can find says that it expired in July 2009. Do we need to buy a new certificate, do we have to have a certificate at all? Any help you can give would be apprecaited. Thanks, Mary

what's the home page you have set for internet? certificates are noraly for pages - my guess is it's trying to conect to some kind of company intranet.
