Western Digital Caviar Black 500 GB HDD???

Hi guys! I was wondering how you feel in general about WD Caviar Black. I was going to use this drive as a System Bootup disk only. I do video editing on a Mac. what are your thoughts?
And what kind of enclosures do you also recommend for a good price? I know I need Firewire 400 or 800 interface ports on it. Thanks

Western Digital is a good company. I trust them quite well.
