Hi im not sure whether to get the BFG 8800GTS OC which i will wait for it to go on sale till $100 ~ $150 but it's $200 right now. I'm thinking whether i should get the BFg 8800GT OC or wait for the 8800GTS OC to go on sale. Im playing games like Gears of war, Crysis, counterstrike, halo, cod4. I want them all at around medium to high settings. Would this be ok?

Either card would work great for what you want it to do. They are very similar in terms of graphical power the GTS, 512mb version, is the more powerful one. But make sure it's the G92 core, otherwise it's the older much less powerful 320mb and 640mb versions.

What might make your decision easier, whether to wait or get the GT now, is that the GT runs a fair bit hotter then the GTS and has been know to artifact because of it. If you do get the GT make sure to get the one with a dual slot cooler. BTW i'm running the GTS and it's great and powerful card, no complaints. It even overclocks like mad as well.
