Forum Windows XP : General Discussion XP Inaccessible Boot Device

Hello,
I'm having an issue with trying to get XP Media Center '05 to reboot after it was crashing while doing some homework. If I try to get Windows to boot normally, it gives error code 0x0000007B (Inaccessible Boot Device).

I inserted the OEM recovery disk (Dell) and brought up the Windows Recovery Console, and selected the only drive it showed. I typed
MAP and it said that my cd drive was set as D, so then I put in

Dir C:\ntldr and it said "An error occured during directory enumeration." After that, I typed in COPY D:\i386\NTLDR C:
and it gave my BSoD with the error "Bad Pool Header."

I have no idea what else to try without access to a real Windows XP disk.

Get back into the Recovery Console from the CD and run chkdsk c: until there are no errors.
