Hey guyz,

So I intend to overclock my future Q9550 to 3.2GHz.

I am going with Corsair or OCZ DDR2 Ram modules. So at what voltage and speed shall I buy for best overclocking performance@3.2 - 800/1066 Mhz ?

PS: Mobo Asus P5Q deluxe

IMO, unless you are wanting to run your ram and fsb at a 1:1 ratio and are going above 400fsb which you are not, then 800 will do fine.

Just got this CPU for my P5Q Deluxe and it's working pretty good. Finally got a decent price quad CPU to 4 ghz. As stated above, PC6400 will do fine for your intended overclock.

As for the motherboard, it doesn't seem to adjust the timings for ram properly. When on "auto" it doesn't compensate for the higher FSB, it just stays the same as detected. So may have to manually set for slower latency as you go higher on the bus.
