ok so, im sure everyone is familiar with those "wow did you really post that picture of yourself" blablablaahh and a link to follow.
this usually happens when the contact who 'sent' it is offline. i have personally never opened those links because i know they are viruses.
however, last night my friend and i started a conversation and she was clearly online and in between what she was typing, a link came up and i thought it was from her. it was something like "tinyurl.com/blabla" it lead to 'youtube' and suddenly my msn disconnected and i had to manually sign in again just to be disconnected 2 minutes later and this kept going for a while. then suddenly, there is an "antivirus removal" software that tells me ive got viruses and i think, yeah i do! thanks! so i click on the bubble and turns out the program was a fake created by the msn virus.
anyways, i proceeded to download AVG free antivirus and also a kaspersky software on a cd disc that came when i bought my laptop.
im not so tech savvy but i do know how to remove a virus and it proved that these two options worked out.

HOWEVER,

now when i go on firefox and try to load a page it says

"problem loading page

the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"

on msn troubleshooter (it may not be that well) key ports is not working??

when i run CMD, my ipconfig says media disconnected

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
