Well basically I need a new PSU and would like some people's opinions on the what the best choice would be.

Needs to be 750W or greater and of a modular design with long cables for my full-tower.

I'm from the uk and have been looking on ebuyer/overclockers/micro-direct etc.

[MUST NOT BE TAGAN....]

if you guys could link me to some good choices which fit my bill for under 100 pound It would be greatly appreciated.

First off what rig are you running... more than likely you dont need all that power, people over estimate what they need these days...

Second the OP asked for a modular PSU, that corsair is NOT modular.

Depending on your system specs... Corsair i believe is the best way to go

Corsair1000w Modular

Corsair 620 Modular (bought one last weekend and going great!)

Unless you have an insane SLI or xFire rig you wont need anything more than the 620w

As others have said, the 750TX Corsair or the Corsair 1000HX are my recommendations. Those are some of the most reliable quality PSUs in their range. I am going to be going with the 1000HX on my upcoming gaming rig. I would have gone with the 750TX if I weren't putting so much onto it.

However, if you are looking for more suggestions, check out this thread http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=108088
