Buying a ship

I see blueprints/components for ships. What
do I need to do? Do I have to build it
myself? Or is it like buying a deed and
just generate it?

Buy the blueprint of the ship, speak to a chasise merchant who for a fee
give u a deed for the ship, buy componets fit them into the ship and then
fly
