Might be important to mention I've already got the motherboard, processor, heatsink, HDD and DVD drive. The additions are 2x HD4870, the RAM, the PSU, and the case. Also, I'm using a 22" widescreen monitor, native resolution 1680x1050.
At 22", crossfired 4870s might be a bit overkill, but even so that just means it'll offer better future-proofing. You could probably by one HD4870 now and the other one in a month or two and save a little money, but that's up to you.
The RAM and PSU are both very good, although I always recommend the Mushkin 2x2GB DDR2 800 with 5-4-4-12 timings because they are spec'd at the JEDEC standard of 1.8V (sorry, I can't post a link right now).

------------------------------There is ALWAYS a drone. Exactly where, or how many drones you will encounter may vary, but that there will be at least one will not.
