Amazon has the Sony Ericsson T637 phone for $44.99. Is it worth
buying something like this to use as a PDA, even if you never sign up
for wireless service?

Oops, I now see you hafta purchase a service plan to get that price.
Anyway, if you could get a deal like this without a service plan, is
that a good way to go for a PDA?

I prefer to keep 'em separate (PDA and Phone, forget the wireless
stuff). I never have to worry about hunting for a plug when the
batteries go. But I travel a lot and always find myself running from
place to place. Might not be such an issue if I were to be home
everyday. They aren't quite there yet with the power, IMHO.
