Will this be good?

Now I'm sick and tired of AMD, and ASUS mobo that is overheating, and has bad capacitors (whining noise on IO)

This is my current rig:

Case: Codegen Briza 6099
PSU: Chieftec 550W A-AB
Mobo: ASUS M2N4-SLi
CPU: AMD X2 5600+
GPU: Palit 880GT 512DDR3
Audio: Audigy SE
TV Tuner: KWorld Terminator 713x
HDD: 3xHDD (one is ATA other 2 are SATA)
DVD/RW: Pioneer 111D
Drawing Pad: Wacom Voilto 2
Gamepad: X360 PC

Now i only want to change to this:

Case: Antec nine hundred
PSU: OCZ gameXStream 600W Sli certified
Mobo: ASUS 5PQ
CPU: Intel E8400
GPU: Palit 9800GTX+ 512DDR3

The rest will stay.

Now, I need your opinions.

Is P5Q mobo, OCZ PSU OK?
And will Palit 9800GTX+ fit by depth in Antec case without any problem?

Thnx.

Yeah it's 3.0 Ghz per core. Anyway most 9800GTX+ are a little bigger than the 8800 GTs. They are based off the same GPU chip. On the one hand it would make more sense to go with an SLi motherboard and add another 8800 GT since that will give you more peformance than a 9800GTX+. On the other, I take it your tired of the problems with those Nvidia SLi boards and that's why your getting the Asus P5Q. If your worried about having another problem with the capacitors then get something with Solid State Capacitors.

Does P5Q have Solid State Capacitors?
Or can you recommend some ASUS mobo that has one, and must have at least 2 PCI slots for tuner and audigy.

I would say upgrading from an 8800GT to a 9800GTX+ isn't worth the money, IMO. I would say hang in there with the 8800GT and then upgrade to the current gen of cards (HD4k series from AMD or GTX 2xx series from NV) or the successor generation later.

Dont go from 8800 to 9800... why would do that? Thats expensive for a baby step... besides, I bet the 8800 is enough to play the games you play right now. keep your 8800 until it struggles to play your games. You could also consider Gigabyte for MoBo's.

Ok I've seen the pic for P5Q, and the other mobos that have solid caps and the solid caps are the silver ones with a red stripe? If so then I'm fine.

I'll stick with Palit 8800GT.
As I've choosed Palit 8800GT sonic for a second card to do SLi, how will it behave with my 8800GT (not sonic)?

I also can recommend Gigabyte. I have never had an asus board that I know of, but I do have a Gigabyte board on my 8-9 month old amd build, and I can tell you, so far I'm pretty happy with it.

Now this final decision, based on some old and new components:

Case: Antec 900
PSU: OCZ 700W GamerXStream SLI certified
Mobo: ASUS P5Q Pro
CPU: E8400
Ram: 4x1GB Kingston @ 667 VR (from my old pc)
GPU: Palit 8800GT 512 DDR3 (from my old pc)
Audio: Audigy X-Fi Extreme Music
TV Tuner: Kworld Terminator 713x (from my old Pc)
HDD: above from my old case. 1xATA and 2xSATA
DVD/RW: Pioneer 111D (still works flawlesly :D)

So what do you think?

Man I never thought this wold be difficult. The company from that I wish to order components do not have these OCZ, P5Q Pro and Audigy X-Fi.

Now I have to choose TT Qfan 750W for PSU, and I don't know what mobo.
Please recommend me a good mobo from Gigabyte or Asus but in range of 100-110 euros

Gigabyte - GA-EP45-DS3R - SOCKET 775

I'll give you the webpage of the shop from which I will order components.
It is in Serbian, but I will put little guide here with translation.

On the left side you have Osnovne komponente=Basic Components.

Below that are selectables for what I need:

Matične Ploče=Motherboards
Procesori=CPU
Napajanja=PSU

Below these selectables there is option: Dodatna Oprema and when you click that new option will open.

In that section jou will have:
Zvučna Karta=Audio Card

So help me in choice, I cannot spend more than 120 euros on mobo, 100 for Audio and 100-110 for PSU.

From my experience Asus has been going to crap as of late, may just be my luck. I've had numerous successful Gigabyte builds. I would give them a try if your willing.
