Up to 1200Mhz DDR2 is with EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), that can be used with certain memory kits to scale timings and or speeds of the modules. The board supports it due to the best of my knowledge,Newegg may not list it because it is usually overclocked to that speed, hence not actually running at that speed to start with. You should be fine if you purchase ram with EPP profiles, or DDR2 1066 and such. However you won't see much of a benefit from DDR2 800 to DDR2 1066.

Besides DDR2 800 is cheaper than dirt after rebates and holiday blow outs.
