My new computer is all together except for the power connectors. Just a few vague questions about that stuff... <_<

Basically, can I form a huge loop of connections of the molex connectors as long as it eventually loops back to the PSU?

Does it make a difference if I connect the "pin connector" as opposed to the "hole connector" on each molex wire? You know how each wire has one molex of pins and another branching off as holes instead of the pins. Does it matter which one I use or do I have to use both?

you have to make sure everything is connected to the power supply...

end of story... nothing loops back to the power supply... that would be bad... don't plug the molex connectors of the powersupply into the power supply....

come on people use a little common sense

i don't mean to plug it BACK into the PSU. but if I take one molex wire from the PSU and just form a chain of connections of that. since each wire splits into 2 more connections, i could probably plug everything in the same "chain"

thats ok unless you have like 10 fans or something

i'd at most put 4 or 5 things on a single chain... if the chain includes the dvd drive only about 3

fans though it should be fine

yeah i have like 6 or 7 fans altogether <_<

i'll give it a shot

I noticed that when i did this, my fans would spin slower. I have a good PSU too, but I just have one thing plugged into one connector.
