Vigor Monsoon III LT temp test

Hello,

Well i got the c0 model of E8400 @ 3.00 Ghz and with stock intel fan my temps were at 50° idle and like 75° on a game like Resident Evil 5.

Just installed the Vigor and the temps when i turned on the pc was 33°, now its on 37°....-13° good improvement? I also used the Thermal Paste that it came with, its Cooler Master.

So far i cant hear it, too quiet.

Max temp was 43°

Meh not by much. A TRUE 120 or a CCF 120mm would have done the job. The CCF is $25 after MIR.

I got Vigor for $30 with shipping, and on newegg its for $43+shipping.

Also i didn't apply Arctic Silver 5 or OCZ thermal paste, used the junk thermal paste comes with it.

37° idle-44° intense gameplay with vigor heatsink
50° idle-75° intense gameplay with stock heatsink
13° difference on idle and 31° difference on intense gameplay
