Get 4GB of DDR2-800 instead. And change 9600 for Radeon 4850.
+1 for these recommendations. You're not going to see improved performance for having spent the money on the 1066 ram, and $150 is way to much to spend on an nV 9600 when the amd 4850 can be had for the same price after rebates. the 4850 will be a world of difference over the 9600.
Pay less for 2x2 GB of RAM after rebate, this very good quality DDR2 800 1.8v Mushkin
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146731 You're picking a motherboard that supports crossfire, but using a NVidia graphic card, change to this ATI HD4850 that you can run crossfire with in the future if you choose. It's $30 more expensive, but worth the price.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102770 The OCZ is a decent power supply, but more than you need for this system, you can drop down to a 600w model which is not only enough for your system, but is also enough power if you add another HD4850 in the future for crossfire. The money you save will pay for the 4850 over the 9600GT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341010 With these changes you get a much better graphic card, more and better RAM, keep the chance of a future upgrade to crossfire open and have a good enough power supply for the whole system, all at the same price as the original spec.
I've had good luck with Biostar motherboards and bad luck with my Asus boards, many other people don't care for the Biostars and love the Asus boards. According to reviews Asus seems to have done a good job with their P45 mobos.
