Look my build over please

Ok guys I am a poor college student and I would just like for y'all to help me make sure everything is good to go in my build.

E8400 CPU

PC Power and Cooling 500w

Mushkin DDR2 800 2gigs ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146732

Asus Radeon 4850

also have HD with cd drive

I am at $535 and I would like to keep it as far under $700 as possible.

I need some help with a motherboard. I just can't decide what I need. No plans for SLI or crossfire but I do plan to overclock eventually. At that time I will order a better heatsink and fan.

Thanks

More about look build please
  1. Mushkin is my preferred brand for a number of reasons, but you'll want to get a 2-stick set so you can run in dual-channel mode. If 2GB is enough, this set is $38.50 after MIR:

If you decide you want 4GB, this set is just $60 after MIR: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146692
You've chosen a good PSU, and getting a cheap one is never a good idea, but you could quite safely go to this Antec for $60: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103941

For a mobo, a P43 or P45 should be sufficient. I like Gigabyte and Biostar, others around here like Asus. Either of these is $90:

  2. i'd say go for the gigabyte mobo. they are very sturdy and oc well.

    oh and try this psu:

cheaper plus a nice $30 rebate. there's some rebates that don't get honored but if you do things right, or complain to ocz, you'll get it! hahahaha

nice rig ya got going there!
