sorry if this has been covered already...

has anyone had any luck getting windows media center to pick up OTA channels? every time i scan, i get this message:

"additional tuners were detected but will not be configured because either they do not have a matching tv signal or any tv signal at all."

the problem isn't the physical hookup, because i can receive OTA just fine using the WinTV software that comes with the card, but i was hoping to be able to use media center. am i perhaps missing the proper drivers? any advice?

Check Hauppauge's knowledge base.

Getting MCE and MC in Vista to work is a pain, you may need to tweak a few things. It's been a while since I looked, but there's alot of workaraounds and official patches to help the situation. I had to go through the same thing with the ATi 650, and I expect the same from the Hauppauge 1500 Expresscard tuner myself (going to pick it up for Canadian Thanksgiving).
