Hey, mainly just venting but also giving out a warning.

Since day one i've had issues with Crucial Ballistix BL2KIT12864AA804 with my computer. It ranges from anywhere from not working at the right timings at 2.2v (had to up it to an insane amount like 2.25-2.3 just to get it to work at suggested timmings) to just plan old not working.

Finally today it broke the straw on a camels back, after having an OC for 3.2ghz for the past 2 months i decided to ramp it up to 3.4 (then to 3.6 after a while). Well go fig at 1st the ram wouldn't work at correct timings even at 800mhz. So i fiddle more and of course a ram card craps out on me.

Moving on i rebooted later tonight and whats this the ram wants to work..but only if my PC is at stock speed... go fig ._.

1 year im throwing in the towel on these freaking hellions and just ordered some G.SKILL PI Black 4GB F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI-B.

Gonna give this ram to a friend if he wants it for free just due to the endless amounts of problems i've had.

..probabbly should of RMAed em when i 1st had trouble..oh well, Ballisitx tech support wouldn't help me either since "if it works at stock speed its fine".

Ya live ya learn....Irony is i was thinking of selling the Crucial and getting a new set of ram and upping to 8gigs...So i guess i end well late Christmas present hahaha ;D
