Windows xp unable to enable NVIDA driver

I am unable to connect to the internet. There is a red x on the NVIDAnForce driver, when I checked properties it said disabled so I tried to enable and it windows is unable to enable... ok I'm a novice so hopefully someone understands. please help

An nVidia nForce is a graphics adapter and won't help cure your comnnection problem. Maybe it's disabled in BIOS because another adapter has supremacy so if you don't have any display problems, let it be for the time being. In Device Manager>Network Adapters, is there an entry with a yellow mark beside it?

Are you trying to connect by ethernet cable to a router or wirelessly?
