alright. i have 4GB of ram.
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

i took a look at Cpu-z and it says my DRAM frequency is around 400MHZ. and i have DDR2 800 ram.
is it running at half speed?

thanks for the help. i don't know much about ram and i just posted this to be sure that therei s no problems with it.

I just had the exact same panic as aj95... i could have kept quiet about it having read this thread but having seen people laughing at his question I thought i'd point out that I'm new to all this aswell and there is a learning curve to this game!! Give us a chance!! :)
