System starts to load as normal ..

Hello,
windows xp computer.
starts loading but then screen is just blank and wont do anything.
I have tried safe mode ... and all the other options on that screen. tested hard drive - it passed, tried to put re installation cd in.. nothing comes up on screen.

have you tried to uninstall the video drivers?

At what point does it go blank.? After the XP loading screen? As far as the Recovery disc, you may need to enter boot options and select the DVD drive. What is the manufacturer of your PC?
