What is everyone's opinion on this manufacturer. I was considering getting their p45xe board that was featured in the recent motherboard top ten value article. Please only respond to the poll if you have legitimate knowledge experience with the product.
Something you may not know is that ASRock is the Asus value brand. While I have not had direct experience with the P45 board, I have built a few machines with ASRock mobos for family and have found them to be stable and easy to work with. My home NAS is based on a ASRock mobo with the 965 chipset and it runs 24/7/365 with no hardware related issues.
i own a P43D1600TWINS-1394 and it is running day and night and i find it very stable. it you dont overclock you cant go far wrong. my board has a facility to overclock it in windows but i tend to do it the other way round. i UNDERCLOCK it to save electric and take the strain off the system
