Looking to OC push the proc. to atleast 3.0-3.2ghz for decent performance. I've chosen a SLI supported mobo and a PS that the manufacturer has claimed will be sufficient enough to power 2x 8800gt 512's incase I decide to upgrade to SLi in the future. I've been way too busy for the past year or so and am outdated on the latest hardware, just looking for some advice on what I should do here.
Does this build look alright or is there something you'd personally change? Is there an upcoming release I should wait for?
HDD i'll be using is a WD 500GB SATA II 16MB
I haven't chosen a heatsink/fan yet and i've custom built my own full atx case with 3x 120mm fans(not powered by the PS), 2x 80mm fans and a 5" inline duct fan @ 140 CubicFeet/Minute (Will not be powered by the pc's PS lol). Measurements of the case (it's huge) is 24"x10"x25"(LxWxH).
Looking to run recently released games and hopefully some new releases.
Let me hear your feedback, all opinions appreciated.
Thanks.

If you want a faster hdd than the 500gb or most non-Raptors, get the WD6400AAKS.
Personally, I no longer do dual cards setups. I have X38, but am on HD 4850 which is more than suffice for 19". If new games get more demanding, I can always pick up a HD 4870 or the next big thing come Q1/09. The good news for Intel users is Nehalem will support both SLI & CF out of the box.
