Hi
Ive just built a new computer for a friend:
Q6600 G0
Freezer 7 pro
2Gb OCZ RAM
650I ultra mobo
Generic hdd and optical dvd drive
580W Hiper PSU
So I boot it, lights fans everything starts, but no image on the screen. I get constant long beeps from the mobo speaker. However I did manage to get a monitor picture once (the BIOS) but the keyboard wouldnt work so I restarted and it went back to the same thing.
Try reseating your video card or cards, make sure they are completely in the PCI-e slot, do the same with each stick of ram.

Ok got it all working great, with CPU temps at 26C idle which im pretty happy with. It turned out to be the RAM, thanks aus. I changed the sticks into different slots (2,3) however if theyre in 0 and or 1 then my comp doesnt post, just long beeps. Any idea why this may be? I tried different RAM but I get the same thing...
Some boards have slightly different ram channels. i.e. channel 0/1 is good for generic ram while channel 1/2 is good for high-volt ram. It's not the same for all boards. Just some.
