I've got an AMD Kuma7750 black edition cpu and i was wondering if 3200Mhz
Was a halfway decent overclock on a budget ECS 8200A board.

I have overclocked it by adjusting the FSB and the multiplier. I have not been able to get even a stable overclock on anything over 3200.

If anyone has managed to get anything better or even heard of anybody getting anything over that with those specs or even similar budget specs please let me know whenever you can. Thanks in advance.

I'm amazed you haven't killed your processor yet with that voltage, it's well beyond safe for anything but a suicide run. Kuma is nothing but a crippled Phenom, they were terrible overclockers and not everyone was even able to hit 3.0Ghz on them, 3.4Ghz was a high overclock. Having a motherboard with ACC(Advanced Clock Calibration) has been proven to help both Kuma and Agena overclock, but it still wouldn't make a significant difference.

those temps are waaaay off.

Use realtemp to monitor temps. The room would have to be 30f-40f in order to get those temps. [:jaydeejohn:4]

yep i know 1.58v is a death setting but its a glich in the board.

when i first run cpuz and saw 1.58 i was scard it was gong to go nuklyer but its ran like that for 8 month no fireball yet.

has to be a glitch in the board reading or cpu reading systems .
but no problems with any other hardware but software i'ev allways got bugs but thats just me

temps read good after i turned off AMD cool N quiet.
a fans got a bit louder but no big deal when conpeard to GPU fan at full its like a old car heater at med/hi GPU's a zoatec GF9800 GTX+

the best i get out of mine is 3.1ghz at 1.45V and a max temp of 59C after a few hours of prime95. Also used a FSB overclock as well, though thats so cool and quiet keeps working for me. Never got a stable 3.2, could boot into windows at 1.5V but failed prime95 in about a min. Didn't push the voltage any further. Using a gigabyte 790X board and if acc is off i can't hit 3.0ghz stable. So i'd say you got just about all out of your chip you can, even on the budget board ( assuming that your voltages really arn't 1.58)
As everyone said poor overclockers but good for what i paid!

My Computer room is showing 20c ambient, but I have nice -3c breeze coming in through a cracked open window, straight towards my case intakes. :p

The 31c peak was from about 45mins that my buddy just put into GTAIV.
