Hi all!

I'm looking at picking up a couple of 4870s, which I will probably watercool after I've had them a month or so. This OC version: http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=860600 is less than 5 pounds more than the stock Sapphire; does anyone have any experience of it? I've tried to find reviews but no joy!

I've got that one.
It can be clocked to 830-850 / 1100(4400 effective) with its cooler. Most important is that fan speed is working properly, I mean on full load and rising temps fan changes speed up to 56% on stock clocks and if I OC then the fan spins up to 78% or even 93% and keeps the GPU under 70 C of full clock(but it's noisy). It runs under 62 C on stock clock on crysis (cool enough).
The Problem is that 4870s have major issues with crysis Warhead on dx10 mode. Performance is unbelivebly low. 16x10 enthusiast settings you get 15-20 fps, while on dx9 mode you get 25-40 fps on same settings. There is similar issues with some other games as well. This is somekind of driver problem with 4870s :(

P.S. you can buy it even cheaper: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148947 with free delivery :)
