help! need to upgrade power supply

hello, i have a hp pavilion elite with a max power of 350 w. i want to upgrade so i can get a bigger graphics card because the one that came with the pc is a nvidia 9500gs which i come to find out isn't very good. can anyone recommend a compatable power supply and graphics card that will work good with a 40" lcd tv. i'm looking to upgrade to a 500w -600w psu. thank you for your help - any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
