Hi everyone, just bought a XFX 750i motherboard and running the Q8200 quad core processor. Been told that although the q8200 is'nt the best processor for overc;ocking it can be upped a little. Anyone out there got any ideas how i set up the bios as i'm new to this and quite frankly don't have a clue. I've enabled the overclocking facility and have been told it's just a case of upping the FSB setting? Am only trying to achieve a speed of around 2.8 GHz.

This kind of questions has been asked for millions of times, so most people including me is tired of answering it.

However, you can find the answer here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/240001-29-howto-overc...

BTW, 2.8GHz should be easy on this CPU. Good luck!

And look for an OC guide specific to your motherboard. If you cannot find one, google something like "680i overclock". The BIOS's should be similar.
