I'm having second thoughts about the extensibility of a SFF machine. So here's something more traditional. Thoughts?

Looks pretty good. You could even save some $ and get the e8400/e7200 and still have a good system. I'd also buy your Corsair 750tx at buy.com for $103 - $20 MIR = $83!!!! Same PSU and much better price!!!

Looks pretty solid to me, for the most part.

Seagate has a 640GB hard drive with a 32MB cache, for the same price. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148335

Corsair 750w seems like a bit of an overkill to me; their 550w would save some money, and should power your system just fine. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] air%20550w

What are your plans as far as overclocking goes? I don't think the extra cost on ddr2 1066 is really worth it, since ddr2 800 at defaults takes an e8500 all the way up to 3.8GHz, I think. You should consider an aftermarket CPU cooler, like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, unless you don't plan on overclocking at all.

Yeah, but for only a $5 savings over the one that I linked? I think he'd be much better off with the 750tx for $5 more. Not that I'm not into saving $, but for $5 more I think it's worth it!!

Oh, no, you're right. I didn't catch that Buy.com thing. Yeah, for only $5 more, it is certainly worth it for future upgrades/systems.

I'm weird, I guess, but I never overclock. Just a thing. I'm kind of scared of it, to be honest. :)

Excellent list.

Get the 750TX, it will let you add a second video card later. You can't do that with a 550W PSU and HD 4870 cards.

DDR2-800 would make more sense if you don't overclock.

Get this RC-690 for $77 with free shipping. Better deal than the Centurion at $40+$19 shipping IMO.
