It seems the best choice of HDDs ATM are the Samsung Spinpoint F3s. If some of you didn't know, there's a 2TB version on Newegg, in addition to the 500GB and 1TB models.
Now my question is, would it be better to get two 1TB F3s or just one 2TB F3, in terms of performance? The 2TB costs $180, while the 1TB costs $90, so the cost would be the same. Would the 2TB model be slower because it has the same cache size (32MB) as the 1TB? I noticed the 500GB has a 16MB cache, half of the 1TB's, so I was wondering if the 2TB would need a 64MB cache to match the other two? Or does it not matter?
