Calibrating Temps w/o Computronix' Guide?

Now that Computronix' superb guide on calibration has been permanently removed (at his request, and we're not supposed to ask him about it), does anyone have a good resource for the same type of information?

I'm seeing a massive difference between my mobo's utility, RealTemp, SpeedFan, BIOS, etc. Which to believe? How to discover the real temps and/or calibrate one or more of them to be reliably accurate?

You could use RealTemp. But yeah, sure wish the guide was still here.

I have RealTemp installed... how do I use it to calibrate my temp readings so they're accurate?
