What is "Verifying DMI pool data"screen

My pc boots fine, but there is a black screen that comes after the post screen that says" verifying DMI pool data, with a lot of information above it. It lasts for 5 seconds, then it continues to boot normally. Can anyone tell me what this screen means, and if there is a way to disable it to speed up my boot time (currently 40 seconds). Nothing is wrong with my pc though. Thanks for your help.

Dmi stands for 'desktop management interface'. It cant be disabled since it's required and part of your bios. If you want to speed things along:
defrag hdd
remove startup apps
upgrade cpu/ram

i don't want to disable dmi, i want to stop the screen from coming up.

Probably won't happen. Seems like as far as I I remember, every homebuild I had did it. Just live with it dude, no biggy.
