DDR2 Question

I have replaced my ASUS P5N-E MB with a EVGA 750i MB. The ASUS MB was junk and so the switch. I am running an SLI dual GPU set-up.Core 2 duo. My question is this: I am currently using DDR2 800 (4Gb) but the new board says to use DDR2 1066. My PC is kinda new and I really don't want to have to buy new memory so can I use the 800 or do I have to bite the bullit and buy new 1066 for this MB?

The board dosn't say to use DDR2 1066. First MBs dont talk... no but i'm joking. They "suggest" that you use DDR2 1066 but DDR2 800 is just as good. You wouldn't see any difference performance wise.

^+ yes stay with the 800
even with ddr3 1600 vs ddr2 800 will not make feel the difference
