Hello all, I have a Asus 750i P5N-D motherboard i have atm the moment 4 1gb Kingston HyperX DDR2 800 in the rig. Im looking to add 2 more Gb by replacing 2 of the sticks with 2gb sticks. I have vista 64 so ill be able to use all 6gb. My 1gb HyperX have timings of 4-4-4-12 so will i have any problems if i get 4-4-4-12 2gb memory?

im planing on getting the kingston HyperX 2gb X2 kit for 50 bucks, thats 4-4-4-12. Why wouldnt the memory run in dual channel, as put the 1gb in the same channel as the other 1gb, its kind of how some of the xp rigs are getting 3gb. 2 1gb sticks plus 2 512mb sticks. I just figured id give vista some more breathing room with 2 more gb of memory since the price on ddr2 is cheap, heck i may just replace all 4 1gb sticks with 2gb sticks and have 8gb in it. Considering prices now compaired to what i did pay for the 4X1gb sticks.
