i just bought a gigabyte p31 with e7300(been supporting amd for many years but reality is now intel...)
i had a asus m2a-vm hdmi with a x2 4000...before... and i noticed that the intel chipset is EMITTING LOTS OF HEAT!!!!
When i was working for the army i also noticed that the amd built was much cooler than his intel countepart....
a bit dissapointed.. cause the cpu is awesome...!
that is something to do with intel have a bigger FSB so unlike AMD which uses HT tech to artificaly speed up thier CPUs were as intel don't need that due to thier FSB I think anyone correct me please if I m in correct.
if you are THAT worrid stick another heat sink on the NB, I don't rember my P45 intel chipset running HOT
