I am getting a new MoBo with Q6600.

One of my picks is GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R, however, I've heard that it's ethernet doesn't work with Windows Vista.

Does anyone know anything about this?

And is this board worth buying?

There shouldn't be any issues. I have an AM2+ motherboard that uses the same NIC. Vista 64 has no issues, those people probably weren't installing the correct drivers (or not installing any drivers at all). Good choice with Gigabyte, ASUS is another good company.

I don't see why it wouldn't work if you install the drivers:
