Ok folks, I need some help here. I have an Asus SK8V motherboard with an Athlon FX-53 CPU and 1G of OCZ PC3200 dual-channel memory that I built 4 years ago. It's been running without a hitch until Christmas morning when I replaced my ATI x800 Pro (AGP) with an ATI HD3850 (AGP) and added another 2G of OCZ memory. When I turned it on, I smelled a something burning and now it won't boot. I brought it to a PC repair shop and they said the motherboard is blown. Since I have all this new hardware, I'd like to just get a replacement motherboard. I can't find one anywhere that will take an AGP video card, the DDR400 memory I have and my socket940 CPU. So, my question: does anyone know where I can find a motherboard that will take all of my current hardware? If not, with my CPU work in a AM2+ socket? I'm in dire straights here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

e-bay, however it would be easier, and cheaper to just build a new one (and no the FX-53 will not work in an AM2 board). Here is a build on the cheap.

$50 AM2 5000+ (dual core)

$36 OCZ Fatal1ty DDR2 800 2x2GB

$80 ASUS 9600GT (open box)

you can re-use pretty much everything else.
