I want to disable it so I can install an old copy of Windows XP without blue screening. I only see two options S1 and S3 for Suspend mode in the Bios.

i dont think S1 or S3 is causing the bluescreen. I have many copies of XP installed on many boards with ACPI enabled without issues.
Can get the Stop error?

It's blue screening because my old xp copy is pre sp1 and sp2. It doesn't recognize the pci-e. http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic16553-4.html has more info on this problem. I need to disable ACPI.

You could update... unless it's not a legit copy of XP. *shrugs*

I have sp2 installed from my previous mobo. I don't have a burner so I can't slipstream it.
