Hey

Looking to build a new budget gaming pc. Just wanted to verify these components are compatible with one another. I have gone over them and I believe they are but if some could verify it'd be appreciated. Nothing's worse than getting the shipment and accidently over-reading the specs and having to wait to for a replacement.

Looking to overclock the CPU, possibly the ram too but haven't decided.

I've heard DDR2-800 is in some cases as fast as DDR2-1066, true? false?

Just another budget PC, I figure if graphics get more demanding I can always invest in another 4850/4870. I know running CF on this board drops speeds to 8x/8x but it fits my budget and is somewhat flexible for future upgrades. Can't afford a more expensive mobo ATM.

So do I pass here? Compatible?

Any advice or recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

looks like a solid build, but i dont think you really need 1066 ram. it is a bit faster, but it's so easy to just overclock 800Mhz ram. i would say just find the ram with the lowest timings, preferably 4-4-4-12.
